Hemp fiber is an ancient and very important plant-based fiber, used for centuries in many regions of the world. Cultivated for its robustness and versatility, it is traditionally processed into ropes, twine, canvases, and resistant fabrics. Thanks to its natural strength, hemp fiber is widely used in weaving, agriculture, decoration, as well as in certain technical and maritime applications.

Stone-washed remnants are soft. This involves a washing process in large machines with pumice or (generally) volcanic stones inside that crush and tumble the fabric fibers.
